OTHER BOOK NEWS

Outlaw representation: censorship and homosexuality in twentieth-century American art by Richard Meyer has been released in paperback by Beacon Press (original hardcover by Oxford University Press).

The inaugural issue of artUS is dated November/December 2003. The journal is headed up by a Los Angeles-based group of editors and published by the Foundation for International Art Criticism. Based on the reviews in the inaugural issue, it looks important for reviews and articles on contemporary art addressing sexuality and other issues. It was launched by (and incorporates) Artext.
