A. Discussion on cataloguing of special material such as:
- Artist's book
- Auction catalogues (SCIPIO standards & guidelines)
- Art exhibition catalogues (regular monos vs. not)
- Facsimiles of illuminated manuscripts: use of rare book cataloging rules vs. Regular rules for modern-day monos
- [this is aiming at session for Saint Louis conference 2002]
B. Discussion on collection-level-cataloguing: consensus on the need for good examples and/or handouts in relation to:
- Archival material
- Printed books
- Vertical file
- Online finding aids
C. Installations (Art)
- Need clarification from the LC about how to solve the problem:
- Site-specific installation vs. artist's nationality in headings
- And moveable installation vs. site-specific installations

D. Comments on:
- CPSO lists: need of cross-references from groups to individuals
- the survey by Jean Wies / paper by B Tillett on the value of GMD's
E. Subject terminology and catalogue unit maintenance:
- how to keep up with changes and how to update/clean up existing records in the best and quickest way.
- What to do about old records which are no longer valid
- Need for standards and limit on how much time we should spend to cleaning and updating and who actually should do it
F. CD-ROM's:
- Clarify the meaning of "interactive multimedia"
- Suggestions about related subject headings
ANNOUNCEMENT: British libraries gave up UK MARC for the USMARC. The German MARC is still different but more close to the USMARC.
